18 September 2010 Class

September 20, 2010

At my class on Saturday 18th it was suggested that we should take a photo of all our cards and put it up online.

I created a couple of examples and then showed the girls and then we had to make cards only using the 2 stamp sets and punches I had there.  It was interesting as we wanted to see how many things we could come up in the time with stamp sets we usually use for only a couple of things and then go on to the next stamp set… so challenging it was.

I showed the girls the first card on the left at the top and the bottom and then showed them how to make them (so I made the left hand side ones while I was teaching them) then the middle cards I made when we had the free for all time with the stamps.

The card above is a close up because in the photo it doesn’t show that there is a circle on the bottom right corner and the owl is on the inside.

The cards below were made by Sharon… what lovely work.  I love the way she tried to think out of the square for the owls and did a lovely piece and changed of the words to fit.

Below are Marion’s cards and she does so well and takes her time and has sooo much patience too.

We have so much fun on our card nights and I love the friendship and the crafting.  Thanks ladies.

Thank you Mandy for a fun night, i loved all our owl cards.

Mandy is a great teacher and I have learned such a lot at our craft evenings,
they are fun and being able to bounce ideas of each other often results in cards I make at home the next day.
Thanks Mandy for being a great teacher and a lovely friend.
